We had an excellent result against Leys again last week: Harry Harland-Mears won his first match for us fairly easily. But everyone else had real battles on their hands.
Tom Parker played an excellent match just losing 13:15 in the fifth.
Harry Henessy (in his last match for us) wore down his opponent with an amazing display of retrievals winning in four.
Graham was not far off the pace of his hard-hitting opponent but did not get a game.
Then with the match tied at 2 strings each, Tom Symmons fought through a nail-biting 4th game tie-break, trading game ball versus match ball, to win that decider 20:18 and then the fifth easily 15:9. This gave us the five bonus points to win 16:10.
