Having been thumped by top-of-the-table Cambridge in the 1st return match of the New Year it was vital for the 2nd team to keep struggling Abbotsley below us in the table. As it turned out our full team of Alistair Maclean, Paul Naylor, Jason Lane, Guy Weatherhead and Les Stockley put the opposition to the sword 20-3. Next week Melbourn at home on Wednesday 6th are beatable if we play well.
