The ladies first team is currently lying third in the division after mixed success in the last four matches. We lost to Hunts County II, beat Cambridge I and Hunts County I and then (rather guttingly) managed to snatch defeat from the jaw of victory against Crown. Two of the matches were lost following match points!! However, if we can now pull ourselves together for the last two fixtures of the season (Saffron Walden and Cambridge II), there is the tantalising prospect of finishing second in the league. This would be our highest finish for years. Determination needed all round!
