We have now replaced another shower unit in the male changing room.
The occasional flooding problem should be solved once and for all by re-directing the large blue downpipe to discharge the rain water from court 3 onto the roof of the changing rooms.
We believe the problem is being caused by the blocked soak-away drains causing the rain water to back up in the pipe during heavy rain falls and therefore forcing the water out at the seals.
Future heavy downfalls will be kept outside the building and not onto the carpet and the back of court 3.
The college has many drainage issues around the site which are not being addressed due to lack of funds!
