Off we went. “We may be gone for some time…” That’s the feeling when you go to The Crown Lodge at Outwell.
They have had their share of bad luck this year losing their No.1
Without a suitable replacement. As a result they currently languish in 9th place. At the start of the match we had a 37 point lead with 3 matches to play after. The conclusion of the evening rested on one match. Which we snuck 3-1. 16 points in the bag and a 47 point defecit we came home (at midnight).
This means we need 14 points from 3 matches and even if The Crown win 20-0 we are still safe in 7th and WILL have a div1 team next year. Well done, boys. A sterling effort.
