2nd’s match this week is on Wednesday 28th October at the Leys School.

Thought we could have a rotation at 4 and 5 in this week’s team. This will also give one of our promising juniors a debut.

So team line-up:

  1. Tom Symmons (maybe the last time he can appear for us)

  3. 3/4. Graham Broughton/Les Stockley (order still to be decided!)
  4. 5. Malik Bilen

 

I will be at Comberton 7.00pm to give a lift to the Leys for any that need it.

Following week there is no match. Then we have Hunts County IV on Monday 2nd November. Please let me know if you are keen to play that fixture.

A solid win yesterday at the Leys – well done all the team.

Especially young Malik (only 12!) who put in a heroic performance to beat a clever and determined adult opponent.

Thanks to his father Zafer for supporting the team too.

I scared the Leys’ players by saying we also had Malik’s younger brother in reserve!
