So…we played the division leaders and won. 3-2. Tied 2-2 and everything to play for. We won. But this isn’t why i feel proud. No. There are few reasons why. The first is that we were without our 1 & 2 so Vinod played (he hasn’t been playing much) at 1 and won. Pride here because he demonstrated why he is No.1 and  such a good role model for our younger players. And he did that in spades. Our No.4. Nick Brown, although plagued with injury showed the same heart and pulled out a rabbit. David lost 3-2. 16-14 in the 5th. A great spirited game. Showed a lot of spirit fighting right up to the last. Dan Murrell winning in a straight 3. But so good mannered and fair. All of these fantastic role models for our juniors.
This is why I feel pride. Because we have such a good team with impeccable credentials. Such a fair, hard working good spirited team. Jeremy took up the slack for us when we were losing and it is with pride that we can now say that we are taking it up for him.
