Beth Collett would like to invite all Comberton Members to watch the Oxford vs Cambridge 2nds & 3rds ladies squash match. This will take place this saturday afternoon (2nd March) at Queen’s College courts.
Beth learnt her squash at Comberton coming up through the ranks of the saturday morning junior sessions. Beth went up to Oxford in October 2011 (I think) and is now captaining the university 2nd team. It’s always great to see juniors continuing to play squash as they go through university, showing that they have enough enthusiasm for the sport to continue without the gentle persuasion of the Comberton coaches. So please go along and support Beth – she’s playing at no. 5 for the seconds and should be on court at about 3:30. Support Beth but don’t feel that you have to cheer for Oxford! Come on the Light Blues!!
