England Squash coach Chris Vine was at the club on 3rd Feb at the invitation of the Junior Coaching team.
In the morning, Chris observed the Saturday Junior Coaching. While Chris has provided lots of good suggestions for the team who run the free Saturday session, it was also clear that he was extremely impressed by whats on offer to juniors at the Club.
“I was hugely impressed with the session on Saturday 3rd Feb, it was great to see and experience – such a great bunch of kids and coaches. I really enjoyed it. It was obvious from the kids faces that they enjoyed the inputs they received from the Comberton coaching team. I would also like to very much commend Martyn, Mike and Ashok for their commitment and dedication.”
After lunch Chris delivered two group coaching sessions for adult members. The money raised from this helped to cover the cost of Chris’ time in the morning, so thanks to all who attended the afternoon session.
